On May 3rd she was picked up as a stray in Zephyrhills and brought to Pasco County Animal Services where I volunteer. Shortly after her arrival she contracted an upper respiratory infection which is very common once entering the shelter environment. Unfortunately, Mary was unable to fight it off and she came down with a case of pneumonia. She was in need of a higher level of veterinary care and a plea was sent out to all the shelter’s rescue partners.
Thankfully Mary was pulled by a rescue and received the medical intervention she needed. After taking a potent antibiotic she quickly recovered and I became her foster.
Mary has been in my care since May 29th. She is approx 6 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. Mary gets along with dogs of all sizes and loves children. She enjoys taking a dip in the pool, chewing bones and playing with her 4 furry foster siblings.
I recently adopted Mary only with the intentions of finding her a amazing furever home. She needs stability and a forever commitment.
