condition: excellent
…..I AM THE GREATEST…..
…..THIS MIGHT SHOCK AND AMAZE YA, BUT I WILL DESTROY JOE FRAZIER….
…..TELLING IT LIKE IT IS….

Offered up are Three Wonderful Autographs of Boxing Legends Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier, as well as Legendary Sports Announcer Howard Cosell.

Overall Condition on the three signed pieces is quite nice. Muhammad Ali is signed in blue ink on a postcard size photo that’s approximately 5 1/2” Height by 3 1/2” Length. Joe Frazier had signed in Blue Sharpie on an 8” X 10” Photo. And Howard Cosell has signed in Blue Pen on an index card. Sorry no COA’s on the pieces, but I collected from UACC members and registers dealers back in the late 80’s and 90’s. They match up very well to noted exemplars. All the signed items are in splendid shape. These would look Fabulous if matted and framed as an ensemble.

The Bouts between Ali and Frazier are the stuff of Legend, with Ali winning two of the three contests.
The first fight between then was dubbed “The Fight Of The Century”. And the third bout was known as “The Thriller in Manila”. There was much bitterness and contempt between the two, as Ali’s references about Frazier being an Uncle Tom never sat right with Joe. And his references about Frazier being a Gorilla only intensified the disdain between them.
On the other hand many might not be aware of is the fact that Cosell was one of the few noted individuals that backed Ali’s staunch refusal to be drafted in the Vietnam war, and was noted in saying that I was right to back Muhammad Ali, but it caused me major enmity in many areas of the nation.

So for all you Muhammad Ali Aficionados Frazier Fans, and Boxing Buffs who were lucky enough to grow up with arguably the best era of boxing heavyweights, here’s a wonderful way to rekindle those wonderful memories. Now you too can “Float Like a Butterfly, and Sting Like a Bee”…..
