Bear Creek Custom Timber guitars is a local guitar building shop located right here is St. Pete and we’re excited to share our latest build, a dreadnought that brings together beautiful tonewoods, classic pre-war inspiration, and the kind of hand-built craftsmanship we love putting into every guitar.
This one features Curly Claro Walnut back and sides that look every bit as good as they sound, paired with a powerful Red Adirondack Spruce top that delivers big volume, clarity, and that vintage-style punch. The Black Walnut neck feels smooth and solid, and the forward-shifted Adirondack bracing gives the guitar incredible resonance and responsiveness.
Classic touches like herringbone purfling, a herringbone rosette, an ebony fretboard and bridge, mother of pearl markers, and Grover butterbean tuners round out the look.
The result? A guitar that’s warm, loud, balanced, and full of character. Whether you’re fingerpicking or digging in with a flatpick, it’s got a bold, open voice that fills the room.
