We are looking for an experienced screen printer who understands production and can confidently run one of our M&R automatic presses. This position is for someone who knows how to keep jobs moving, maintain print quality, troubleshoot on press, and work efficiently in a real production shop.
The right person should be comfortable setting up jobs, registering screens, dialing in print settings, checking quality throughout the run, and helping keep production on schedule.
Position Responsibilities
.Operate an M&R automatic screen printing press
.Set up jobs from work orders and production specs
.Register multi-color jobs accurately and efficiently
.Load screens, inks, squeegees, flood bars, and pallets
.Dial in off-contact, squeegee pressure, angle, stroke speed, flash timing, and dryer settings
.Monitor print quality throughout the entire production run
.Catch and correct issues with registration, ink coverage, fibrillation, curing, placement, and garment defects
.Understand production flow and keep jobs moving at an efficient pace
.Communicate clearly with the production team about job status, issues, and timing
.Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient press area
.Assist with basic press maintenance, screen handling, ink cleanup, and shop workflow as needed
Requirements
.Previous screen printing experience required
.Experience running an automatic press required
.M&R automatic press experience strongly preferred
.Ability to set up and run multi-color jobs
.Strong eye for detail and quality control
.Ability to read and follow work orders
.Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
.Must be able to stand for long periods and lift boxes of garments when needed
.Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
Preferred Skills
.Experience with simulated process and detailed graphics
.Knowledge of flash curing and dryer temperature control
.Ink mixing and Pantone matching experience
.Experience printing on tees, hoodies, performance apparel, and specialty garments
Schedule
Full-time position available. Schedule may vary depending on production needs.
Pay
Pay is based on experience. Experienced automatic press operators will be paid accordingly.
