I have a 36" long stainless steel flex gas connector (Gray colored - Dormont) hookup hose/tube that has 1/2" ID size. Use it for any gas BBQ, a water heater in your garage, outdoors gas heater, outdoors mosquito trap, anything using either propane or natural gas. NOTE: Any/ all gas appliances MUST have a properly sized, properly rated gas connector (BTU flow) to work properly. (Absolutely nothing wrong with a larger rated connector, everything wrong with an under size rated one). And from my knowledge this gray colored connector is rated for 120,000 BTU/h or just sightly more. Still retains the factory UL metal label ring thereon. This one is roughly $26 plus tax at either HD or Lowe's, but you can have it for $12.
The yellow one is $20 as it is a much larger size and rated at greater BTU's.
