Red Rover Moving & Storage
Red Rover Moving & Storage is seeking a motivated and resilient Sales Development Representative to help grow our customer base through outbound cold calling, lead follow-up, and relationship building.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable on the phone, knows how to get past gatekeepers, and enjoys turning conversations into qualified sales opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying potential customers and business partners, qualifying their needs, and creating a strong pipeline for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers and business partners.
• Respond to and qualify inbound leads promptly.
• Identify customer needs and communicate the value of Red Rover’s moving and portable storage services.
• Navigate gatekeepers and connect with key decision-makers.
• Schedule qualified appointments and pass sales opportunities to the appropriate team member.
• Follow up consistently with prospects through phone, email, and CRM tasks.
• Maintain complete and accurate prospect, activity, and pipeline records in Salesforce.
• Meet weekly expectations for calls, conversations, appointments, qualified leads, and pipeline activity.
• Develop relationships with potential referral partners, including real estate professionals, contractors, property managers, restoration companies, senior living communities, and other local businesses.
• Work closely with sales and operations to ensure a smooth customer handoff.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in cold calling, inside sales, telemarketing, lead generation, or business development preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident speaking with business owners, managers, and other decision-makers.
• Resilient, competitive, and comfortable handling rejection.
• Ability to break through gatekeepers and create interest quickly.
• Organized and able to manage a high volume of follow-up activity.
• Comfortable working toward weekly activity and pipeline goals.
• Experience using Salesforce or another CRM is preferred.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and accountable for results.
• Interest in the moving, storage, home services, or logistics industries is a plus.
