This ring was purchased in 2001 and never worn. It is over 1 Carat (total weight) Princess Cut Diamond Engagement Ring with side diamond baguettes in a Platinum Setting. For Craigslist viewers not aware, platinum settings are much more valuable. Counter Offers are being accepted, but for those asking...low offers in the "hundreds of dollars" will not be considered.
Appraisers have verified that diamond and platinum engagement jewelry has increased in value since it's purchase in 2001, but I am willing to part with it at a much lower price. The IGI authentication card has an estimated value as $3,895, but that is based on the original lowered priced 14 Carat Gold Ring and not the more valuable Platinum setting and also the lower prices over 20 years ago. This ring has appreciated in value and therefore the value today of this Diamond Engagement Ring in an upgraded Platinum Setting is more. Given all these details, this ring is fantastic for any bride and a great price considering the quality.
