Need a small video/film/commercial or cat biography made, but don't have a truckload of money to spend? Maybe we should talk. I've been doing this for a while, for my own amusement, and thought perhaps I could do it for other people as well. What do I charge? I dunno, couple of hundred bucks for something easy. Beyond that, if it's something more involved, I'm sure we could come to a reasonable price. Filming, editing, soundtracks and overdubs, I can do those things. No project too small. My equipment list would not impress you, but what I can get out of that equipment might. I've been working on my own video projects for about 6 years, before that i owned a music recording studio for 10 years; if you like turn-of-the-century indie rock I may have worked with some bands you'd know. (probably not, though)

Here's a short video I made for a friend, he's got one of those moderately fancy low-rider cars, and wanted something to showcase its, and his, coolness:

For something like this, I'd charge around $400; that would probably break down to a day of filming, a day of mixing, and another day to go back and film some more scenes and/or mix a little more. So, as a package deal/starting point, $400 for 3 days of work. Plus the extra day or two I'd probably keep mixing it, on my own free time, until I felt it was as good as it could be...a bargain! Until your cat biography wins an Emmy; that's when I plan to start charging in the quadruple digits. Until then, as noted, I'm pretty flexible on rates; tell me your idea or what you need, and we'll see if we can work something out.
