Hi everyone! My partner and I are helping collect data for an educational assessment publisher
called PRO-ED, Inc., and we are looking for parents of young children (from 1 month old up to
5 years, 11 months) to participate in a short phone interview.
Your child does NOT need to be present — we will simply ask YOU a series of yes/no
questions about your child’s development. It takes about 20–25 minutes, and after completion,
you’ll receive a $20 Amazon gift card as a thank-you!

This is part of a research project for PRO-ED, Inc., an international publisher of speech,
language, psychology, and special education materials. They develop and update standardized
assessments that help professionals better understand and support individuals with learning or
developmental needs.
Your information is private and anonymous. Every participant is assigned a random ID,
and your responses are only used for research purposes — not to diagnose or evaluate.
The goal is to build a data sample that reflects the diversity of children nationwide. We’re
especially looking for participants of different races, ethnicities, and backgrounds to ensure the
tests are fair and accurate for everyone.

date of birth, gender, your email address, and ethnicity (Hispanic, Caucasian, African
American, American Indian, Asian, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, or Two or more
races).
After that, I’ll send over the form and schedule a time to perform the assessment that takes less than 10-20 minutes max.
