Mental Health Non-Profit has openings for Volunteers (Tampa Bay)

Volunteers needed to help staff community mental health Peer Support groups in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. We are a local non-profit, community based organization. All volunteer run, the Depression Bipolar Support Alliance of Tampa Bay has been serving the community since 1985.

We host meetings in (3) counties surrounding Tampa Bay and currently have openings for staff at our Tampa and St. Petersburg support groups.

Volunteering is a way to feel better if you are suffering with depressed feelings. Feel the joy of giving back to the world and helping others !

Join fellow members of the Tampa Bay Community by volunteering your time to help others by becoming a Peer to Peer support group facilitator, co-facilitator, or helping out with our all volunteer positions and support staff.

Individuals are needed who are diagnosed themselves with Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, or other affective disorders or who have a loved one who is diagnosed. Peer to peer support is what we are all about.

Retired professionals from the mental health field who are interested in volunteering with a nationally recognized non-profit may apply also.

We offer free training for those interested. Call or e-mail us for more information.
