Pretty much brand new, we had a kayak on it once, and sold the kayak. This is listed on Amazon and you can see all the details there, but here is a summary. It will hold a kayak, canoe or sup. The V rack is 39" wide and the rollers on the leading edge of the rack make it easy for one person to place the boat up on the roof. There are quality straps, and the rack is secured with 2 brackets and 4 bolts. Load capacity is 90 lbs.
NOTE: Due to the "shallow V Shape" of the V-Roller most Multi-Chine Rec & Touring kayaks are not recommended with this rack as it will not have a secure fitting…including Wilderness Pungo, Hurricane Prima, almost all of the Eddy line Sit Insides
