This Tamron Lens is for the crop sensor DX nikon camera. I know they made several versions of these However with this one I believe you have to have the Focus motor in your camera or it will be a manual focus lens. Basically that means if you have a d3000 or d5000 series it will be a manual focus lens but it will have no problem Auto focusing with a D90 D200 D7000 D7100 d7200 d7500 d500 and several others. If you're not sure just look at your lens mount on the camera and there's a little screw sticking out around the circle that means you have the motor built into the camera. It's in great shape and works flawlessly
