Small plaintiff's firm seeks administrative assistant with MINIMUM one-two years experience as a legal secretary with knowledge of Florida Court Procedures to handle the following:
-Answering the phones
-Handling incoming and outgoing mail
-Scanning and Copying
-Calendar management: handling all scheduling of depositions, hearings, etc. [This is a time consuming task as scheduling usually requires multiple emails to counsel and the court.]
-Ability to format final and/or rough draft documents on computer (including conversion from and to pdf)
-E-filing as required
-Opening and closing files and entering data on both Abacus and Document folder
-Preparing routine cover letters, envelopes, checks, etc. including requesting and organizing medical records and bills as received
-Maintaining record of costs (disbursements) in client files.
-Any other tasks as may be necessary.
