I bought this bike used as a project bike. Everything was progressing great until I realized that I couldn't attach a luggage rack to the frame because the holes were stripped. (See photos.)

I had never even heard of a Specialized Alibi (the model, not the brand) until I got this bike, but here it is:
Frame size: Medium (step-through). In the previous century, a step-through frame was known as a frame for "girls / ladies / women" and their ankle-length skirts. Now it's known as an easy-on / easy-off frame. Perfect for seniors (like me).
Weight: 27 lbs., even with the heavy seat/saddle.
Color: Flat Maroon (very cool color).
Wheel size: 700C (Tire size: 35C).
Transmission: Shimano 24 speed. Shifts smoothly.
Adjustable handlebar stem (I also have the original stem if you want it).
Seat/saddle: Schwinn comfort seat/saddle. Definitely not performance-oriented, but easy on the tush.
Includes adjustable kickstand.

I had a local bike shop install new brake pads and adjust the brakes. They also adjusted the derailleur. (Thanks, James!)
I cleaned and lubed the chain, so you're good to go in that department.

What's wrong with the bike:
• The paint is in rough shape. It was that way when I bought it, but I didn't care. If you want a cheap pretty bike, this one ain't for you.
• You can't attach a luggage rack to the frame (see photos). You CAN attach a clamp-on rack to the seat post. (Amazon has them for $20-25.)
• The shifters work well, but are cosmetically challenged. One shifter is missing the clear plastic cover; the other shifter's plastic cover is fogged over, but still readable (see pix).
