1966 Ampeg G-15 Gemini II 2-Channel 30-Watt 1x15" Combo Amp. This amp is awesome sounding! Looked over by a tech at the beginning of the year, this amp sings. Original reverb tank took a crap, so there's a replacement Mod reverb tank installed. Original pedal still connected and works perfect, and the original Jensen Concert speaker is with it. Converted to a 3 prong cord for safety, and it looks like the handle is a replacement. This is one of the few amps that I suggest running through a proper variac, as to preserve the tubes and circuit. I've noticed plugging into the wall directly pushes too much current in the amp, and these circuits seem to not like that at all, so I run this on my variac around 114v. I only run vintage Ampegs, Music Man amps, and vintage Fenders through the variac, as I feel the voltage control better preserves the components, as well as sweeten the tone. Other than that, this guy's ready to go!
