Early Vitrolite 20th century, café bristro table features a 24 inch round, white Vitrolite glass top painted cast iron base. The vitreous marble product called Vitrolite was produced by The Vitrolite Company from 1908-1935, and then by Libbey-Owens-Ford from 1935-1947. Since vitreous marble is glass, it’s a non-porous substance used extensively as a substitute for marble counter tops and table tops. The base of this table is Iron with the Vitrolite Table Top.
Overall excellent patina.
