A silent auction will be held to benefit All Children's Hospital, the only specialty licensed children's hospital on Florida's west coast.

The auction is being held in conjunction with the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup, an annual professional wrestling tournament that will take place the weekend of November 20 and 21, 2009 at the National Guard Armories in Brooksville and Crystal River, Florida.

The tournament honors Jeff Peterson, a promising young wrestler who was stricken with cancer and passed away in 2002.

We are asking prominent individuals and companies to help All Children's Hospital by donating items to be bid on during the silent auction.

Of course, each company who participates will be acknowledged and identified during the silent auction as having donated particular items.

Webb was speaking of the fourth annual �koncert� his group of talented Karaoke-singing stars will put on to benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation come February 2010.

Dubbed �Koncert 4 Kiddz,� the annual event combines Webb�s singers with a silent auction in an extravaganza that raises funds for a very worthy cause. The 2010 performance will be the fourth straight year that the Famunda All-Stars have been the event�s fundraising linchpin.

The event will take place at the Ritz Ybor on Saturday, February 20, 2010, with the silent auction beginning at 6:00 p.m. In addition to the Famunda All-Stars, other celebrities and media personalities from TV, radio, and print will also sing.

Formed in 2005 as a group of singers and musicians who met informally to perform and spend time together, the Famunda All-Stars have raised over $26,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation (PCF) in their first three Koncert 4 Kiddz events.

�There�s nothing better than using the talent you�ve been blessed with to help someone,� Webb said of the Famunda All-Stars� association with the PCF.

Webb added that the Famunda All-Stars also constantly play clubs and other public events, both to raise funds and to simply perform and share their unique brand of music.

Final Four Participants named for this year�s big event.

This year�s version of the annual event will be the 7th installment of the Tournament to honor late Florida Independent wrestler, �The All American� Jeff Peterson. In November, 2002 IPW Hardcore wrestler Jeff Peterson lost his battle with cancer. May 16-17, 2003 saw the beginning of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup, a sixteen competitor cruiserweight tournament in honor of the fallen star. Each year since the event has grown to international levels. Previous winners include, �Reckless Youth� Tom Carter, Justice, Chris Sabin, Milano Collection AT, Chris Hero, and Erick Stevens.

The 2009 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup will take place over the course of 2 evenings, Friday November 20th, 2009 and Saturday November 21st, 2009 at the Brooksville, Florida and Crystal River, Florida National Guard Armories respectively.

In a new twist for this year�s event, the 16 participants for the tournament will come from 4 of the hottest independent companies in the US, with each company entering 4 wrestlers to represent their company. This year�s field will represent Florida�s own Full Impact Pro Wrestling, Philadelphia�s Combat Zone Wrestling, Chicago�s AAW, and Ohio�s Hybrid Pro Wrestling.

The final four entrants into the 2009 JPC have been named, and come to the field from Hybrid Pro Wresting in Ohio. Representing Hybrid will be:

4. LOUIS LYNDON

This announcement completes the field and brings the number of athletes entered to a total of 16. We will announce the first round pairings in the coming days so stay tuned for more updates.

Tournament officials are happy to announce that making their 3rd straight appearances as play by play and color commentators for the DVD release of this event are Lenny Leonard and Scott Hudson.

Lenny is currently the voice of Dragon Gate USA on PPV and DVD as well as Full Impact Pro Wrestling, while Scott is a veteran of the Monday Night Wars and his extensive career has seen him as part of the broadcast team for WCW on both TV and PPV.

The rules of Fray are simple. There will be eight participants. Their entry into the match will be drawn at random. The match will start with two contestants. Every two minutes another competitor will join Fray. Eliminations can take place at anytime by pinfall, submission or DQ. There are no count outs. The final survivor is your winner.

Violence promises to be on tap for Night 2!

The fiery rhetoric is starting to heat up between Ron Bass and Sean Davis in advance of their Texas Bullrope Match on night 2 of the JPC. Both men have been trading angry comments back and forth, and when we had the opportunity this week to check on the preparations for each man, that didn�t change at all.

Ron Bass invited us out to his ranch in North Hillsborough county to talk and it didn�t take long to see the veteran tough guy means business. Bass was �back in the saddle� as it was, riding and roping cattle before heading into the barn to throw some heavy weights around and hit the heavy bag. It is clear Bass is taking this very seriously, and that could spell trouble for Sean Davis. �I had heard how Davis stuck is nose into things when I got to FIP, but I didn�t hear how big his mouth was. Well come November 21st I�m gonna do something I don�t think has ever been done before. I�m gonna shut that fat windbag�s mouth�permanently.�

Sean Davis however was content to let his mouth so his working out when we stopped by. �Old man Bass doesn�t stand a chance against me. What is he now, like 80? --Renovation of vacant hotel among ideas to ease pain of homeless in Hillsborough County--

Tampa, FL � Florida State House candidate Brian Blair, continuing to offer up innovative, aggressive ideas, has now turned his attention to the plight of Hillsborough County�s homeless.

Blair calls it thinking �outside the box,� and the same visionary approach that has worked wonders in developing new, sheltered bus stops for county residents is now being applied to those who find themselves without a roof over their heads, period.

Blair, the former county commissioner who seeks District 47�s seat in the 2010 election, has proposed renovating at least one vacant hotel so that it may house hundreds of homeless people.

�It makes sense, across the board,� Blair said recently. �Hotels are already equipped for sheltering people. And it would, at the same time, help the homeless and create jobs,� he added.

Blair says the plan would entail selecting a vacant hotel and targeting it for renovation. Then, county homeless people would be moved in�after background checks�with attention paid to grouping them by gender and/or families. Blair said, though, that people wouldn�t be able to stay there indefinitely, in order to ensure that vacancies would be created for others.

Blair says start-up funding would be asked for from the countless agencies already working closely with the homeless, like the Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, and others. He added that people benefiting from the program could become �in-house� workers to help maintain the premises, through training.

Other potential partners in such a project, Blair said, could be natural tie-in groups like Meals on Wheels and Seniors in Service.

�It�s not that county residents don�t feel that the homeless should have a place to stay, but the question is always, �Where?,�� Blair said. �Hotels are generally away from neighborhoods and shopping centers,� he added.

Blair�s suggestion is different from the �tent city� proposal by Catholic Charities that the Hillsborough County Commission killed in a 4-3 vote on October 13, 2009.

Blair noted that he hopes a mechanism could be put in place whereby local people�like those who�ve lost jobs, etc.�are helped first.

Blair said he�s confident that he has some initial support from within the county, encouraged by a discussion he had in 2008 with Department of Social Services department head Dave Rogoff, who Blair said �seemed to really like the concept.�

Blair, a Republican, announced in August that he was seeking the State House seat for District 47, which includes portions of Hillsborough County and will be vacated by fellow Republican Kevin Ambler in 2010. Ambler is term limited and is running for State Senate.

I'm fighting for a father's rights. Should a father not be allowed visitation with his children or allowed to have a say in their up-bringing? I don't want to hear from fathers who use drugs, alcohol and are somehow abusive. I want to hear from fathers who just had the bad luck of getting divorced. Father's who have never done anything wrong but their spouse wants to hurt them by telling the children false information about him, breaking a father's bond with his children.

I have been writing emails and letters to anyone I can think of to have things change for fathers. They are not baby donors, but a part of that child just as the mother is. How comes it seems if there is a dispute, usually the mother wins when it comes to the children. I found this link about four months ago in Projo, on my brother's behalf. I have commented on it in regards to my brother's case. I hope, who ever started it, will continue and hopefully bring more fathers in. http://truthincourt.webs.com I just sent out approx. 15 to 20 letters to child groups, fathers groups, politicians, TV News and Newspapers with my brother's story.

I will continue to send letters and emails to everyone and anyone until something is done. If I had more stories from father's, I could put it together in my letters and emails and maybe society will open their eyes and help to put a stop to children getting taking away from their fathers for no reason. I am a mother of four with a wonderful husband and could never imagine my children without him.

This is a sad case on behalf of this father. Lyons v. R. Michael Sheldon, Kent County Family Court - father writes he hasn't seen or spoken to his daughter since 2002. His daughter will be 10 years old in December of 2009. He fought for seven years and hopefully when he goes back to court on Nov 16th, he will finally get to see his child.

Cases like this are just wrong. SEVEN YEARS. Society has to recongize fathers as an equal part to their children's lives.

In my brother's case, one of the last times he saw his children, we all went sledding, him, his children, myself and my children and had a GREAT time. After that weekend, I received a call from one of his children crying hysterically stating, the court ordered "I have to see my father every Friday". "He is ruining my life". "I will no longer be able to go on sleepovers, dances at school, birthday parties and vacations with mom". Because of my very close relationship with these children, my brother and myself sat them down and explained things they have been told is not correct. This was the first and only time anyone from our family confronted them. The children left with no problems, and after this, they no longer wanted to see him or myself again. The last time father seen his children was February 10, 2009 and last spoke with them thereafter. My parents were up from FL and went to observe the next court hearing, they didn't say or do anything. A day later, one of the children contacted guardian and stated, "I want nothing to do with dad's side of the family". My parents are both cancer survivors and God forbid their cancer ever comes back, there is a chance they will never see these children again. My children have not heard from their cousins in many months. My children are so sad and continue to ask when they will see their cousins again. My brother's daughter and my daughter were best friends and also his son and one of my sons were best friends.

Judge stated to mother when the children were first taken away "taking the children from their father really hurt them" Judge also stated in the beginning to mother "you have your rich husband, nice home and you want this guy out of the picture", and again Judge stated in the beginning "I can see the mother's influence in the children" lastly he stated when the children went to meet with him again "I can tell the children had been prepared prior to my interview". Judge also stated when child refused to see father "I'm not going to let a 12 year old make the decision in this court". Why were they prepared? Why is the 12, now 13 year old making the decisions for the court and allowed to dictate to father? How come the Judge did a complete 180, and no longer recognizes mothers part? Why doesn't the judge see that one month the children missed the father terribly but in another month, they no longer want anything to do with father and family. What could change their minds? Why is the judge now closing his eyes to this? The most important thing we, as a family, are looking for is a psychologist from the State be assigned to any therapy relating to these children and their father from this day forth. No more psychologist who is paid by mother and who worked for current husband's family prior to mother's marriage. If current psychologist discovers mother has a hand in the children's problems, do you think he would report it? I think psychologist will no longer be family psychologist. That's only my opinion. We want someone from the State, someone unbiased. Why is so unheard of?

Please, if you have a similar story, please send it to me so that I can continue to write letters and emails, fighting for my families rights and on behalf of all fathers out there who have been dealt the same cards.

As I said above, I will continue my letters and emails, reporting on what happens in court and in our lives until either someone listens, or the mother of these children fixes the damage she has done. I want her to admit her wrong doings and encourge the children's bonds with their father and the rest of our family instead of discouraging them. If this is done, we will all encourage these children to love both their parents and stepparent, all grandparents, aunts, uncles, councins, etc.

New Florida Junior Heavyweight Champion Crowned

(Tampa, FL) � This past Friday night, October 30, in Tampa, Florida, Craig Classic became the fourth NWA Pro Wrestling Fusion Florida Junior Heavyweight Champion by defeating Chris Jones. Jones, who demanded this match take place after being attacked and left laying by Classic on October 17 in Ft. Pierce, Florida, battled to the end but eventually fell victim to the Blue Thunder Driver.

Chris Jones is going to have to wait for his rematch because Craig Classic was offered and has accepted another tour of Big Japan Pro Wrestling. This will be his 10th tour of Japan since 2006. Upon receiving word of Craig's returning to Japan, he has received offers from multiple wrestling organizations throughout Japan. Craig is planning on taking the Florida Junior Heavyweight Title with him to defend it against any and all junior heavyweights in Japan.

As Champion, Classic now joins Chris Jones and former WCW World Television and Cruiserweight Champion, Prince Iaukea, as the only men to have held the NWA Pro Wrestling Fusion Florida Junior Heavyweight Championship.

Or, since everyone is scared people are BRAKING BEFORE THE INTERSECTION, STOPPING BEFORE OR AT THE EXACT MOMENT OF A YELLOW LIGHT, and WILL CAUSE THOSE BEHIND THEM TO CRASH INTO THEM -- RESULT IS ANOTHER DANGEROUS MOMENT. So, like the other day, as I drove into an intersection with a jerk tailgaiting me I was forced to go through the yellow/red light as THEY TURNED TO THE RIGHT WHERE THERE IS NO CAMERAS TO SEE THAT HE REALLY RAN A RED LIGHT BUT I GOT PHOTOED!!! Now I don't worry. Even though the seller says not to use it this way, or to use it when going through toll booths, it says that if I do then it's on me so I'll take that chance -- because there are no police there OR THEY WOULD BE WRITING TICKETS FOR THE NORMAL VIOLATIONS. The cost of this is so reasonable and I will use it the way I want to -- I'm not going to waste anymore money that I don't have.

Sir\Mam,

My name is Jon Thomas. On October 19, 2009 I was riding in the passenger seat in my black 02 BMW 325i. My friend was driving because I was feeling tired. We were waiting in the turning lane on Waters Ave. for the light to turn green so I could take a left onto Dale Mabry. When the light turned green, I moved forward approximately a car length before I collided with another car that was turning left from Dale Mabry onto Waters. The car was obviously trying to beat his red light and was clearly in the wrong. As soon as the accident happened, I heard sirens. It just so happened that the Fire Department was a few lanes over and behind me. They moved forward and blocked off traffic. I hopped out of my car and made sure the other passengers in the other vehicle were okay. We got them out of the car and moved both cars out of the way of traffic. I asked the firemen if I should grab a witness and they said not to worry about it because the camera at the intersection records and I wouldn't need it. That statement wasn't entirely true. There is a camera, but it does not record. The other passengers were looked over by the firemen and paramedics and everyone was fine. Since the cameras didn't record and they were no witnesses to the accident no tickets could be issued. The following day they were claiming neck and back injuries. To keep it short, I'm getting screwed royally for something that wasn't my fault. I am looking for anyone that may have seen the accident happen. It was October 19th, 2009 around 12:30 pm on the corner of Waters Ave and Dale Mabry hwy. It was very busy at the time and I know someone out there saw something. Being active duty military I don't make enough money to be paying for doctor bills once my insurance companies limit has reached its peak.

Wrestling for All Children�s Hospital

(Crystal River, FL) � Sixteen top cruiserweight professional wrestlers will compete in a tournament that, for the seventh straight year, will honor the memory of one of their fallen comrades.

The Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup will be at stake when four of the country�s leading independent wrestling entities each send four wrestlers into a tournament that is now in its seventh year.

The tournament honors former independent wrestler Peterson, who passed away in 2002 from cancer.

Starting in May 2003 and continuing every year since, a tournament has been held in Peterson�s name, with proceeds going to charity. This year�s recipient will be All Children�s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL.

The 2009 version of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup will take place on Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21 at the National Guard Armories in Brooksville, FL and Crystal River, FL, respectively.

The four independent companies sending wrestlers to the tourney include Florida�s Full Impact Pro Wrestling; Philadelphia�s Combat Zone Wrestling; Chicago�s AAW; and Ohio�s Hybrid Pro Wrestling.

Plus in action will be Legendary Pro Wrestler �Outlaw� Ron Bass in a Bullrope match.

Previous winners of the tournament include �Reckless Youth� Tom Carter; Justice; Chris Sabin; Milano Collection AT; Chris Hero; and Erick Stevens.

There will also be a silent auction at the event benefiting All Children�s Hospital with items from WWE, TNA and signed items from Celebrities plus Theme Park tickets and more.
