Original Band starting up. We have been practicing for a few months, then the band "dissolved". Looking for guitar and bass, vocals a plus. If you write your own songs, and/or would like to sing some of them--that's also a plus Looking for the right "bass" sound, and that overall "fit" as a band. We currently consist of a Very Experienced Drummer in his young 40's who was in a previous band and toured and played out for 5 years, and also a female vocalist/songwriter who plays keys, in her young 30's. We are an original band, and will also add a few covers from Imogen Heap, Coldplay, etc, to expand our song base.
Looking for creative, dedicated individuals (preferably smoke free), who are committed to starting up this band, with a goal of playing shows this early spring, and a long term goal of getting into a studio and recording an album. We have a band that we can open for once we are ready to play out. Sure we want to make money--but we also do not want to be a "cover" band, this is our heart and soul and we want to WOW people with our unique sound and get a fan base going and work our way from there.
Practice is every Sunday afternoon, and we will add another day once we are all formed and ready. Email about yourself and if you have any samples....and maybe if it's a fit you can come down to a practice.

You can check out www.myspace.com/namastemle, but that's only a sample of some solo music I recorded a few years ago as a beginner using Cakewalk. As a band I'd hope we could create our own original type sound.
