Sun Trade Media is currently seeking beat writers to cover Gulfport, South Pasadena, Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach, Tierra Verde and West St. Petersburg. You will be expected to write three articles every two weeks covering the area you have been assigned. You will serve as your own assignment editor by coming up with your own story ideas by attending city commission meetings and other means. You will also be asked to submit at least one photo image with each article you write. The compensation is $40 per article.
