Rapidly expanding group of small companies seeks a Business Analyst to define system specifications, assist with the design and development of software enhancements and convert business specifications into detailed technical requirements. Responsibilities include:
•Interacts with external entities, management and staff to determine business requirements.
•Compiles initial enhancement specifications and provides to IS staff.
•Documents functional requirements.
•Monitors status of software enhancements and notifies management of potential delays.
•Assists in research, development and design of relevant data structure as needed.
•Effectively participates in project requirements, development and testing status review meetings.
•Informs users of software changes to include documentation.
•Develops training materials and programs.
•Schedules training sessions with department heads.
•Assists with internal and external reporting requirements.
•Interacts as necessary with external entities to determine reporting requirements.
•Evaluates existing reporting elements and makes recommendations for improvement.
•Performs data analysis including data export, report creation/validation and publication.
•Applies knowledge of TPA operations as it relates to the implementation of software updates.
The qualifications we seek are a minimum of 3-5 years of Business Analyst experience in all areas of systems development, project management, advanced Web design experience and advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office products including Visio and Project. Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and ability to work in a fast paced collaborative team environment are also required.
