I'm not a big guit repair guy (just a player :) )
I would go to borders or Barnes and noble or Sam Ash and see if they have the Dan Erlewine guitar set up book

if you are really strapped for cash - take a pad /pen and write down any pertinent instructions or take some good photographs of the pages

you could also join thegearpage.net which is a forum board of serious hobbyists & builders/designers alike who are very helpful

I would sign up on that forum and get some help if I were you
