I am looking for a drummer for my band that is in a mixture of sludge with a progressive groove and a thrashy feel. Think of Mastodon mixed with Eyehategod and Cult of Luna.

Requirements: Can come to practice at least two nights a week (preferably Wednesday and Sunday), has working pro quality gear (double bass pedal or not), under the age of 25, isn't a druggy and isn't a drunk, has transportation to practice and too shows, is able to play shows at least 4 times a month, and off time beats are essential. Shows are covered, I have alot of connections in the area, been playing in Tampa for awhile.

I need creativity from you, not just standard rock beats. A interest in the American civil war, a open mind too Southern rock and bluegrass is a must too. But this is a metal band, straight up. Looking to make it a three piece, maybe two, I have quite a bit of power behind me. I have about three amps if we choose to be a 2 piece so no worries on low end.

Influences are (the three bands mentioned above), Corrosion of Conformity, Generation of Vipers, Baroness, Deadbirds, Artimus Pyledriver, Down, Alabama Thunderpussy, Rwake, Birds of Prey, Black Tusk, Torche, Zoroaster, Clutch, Goatsnake, High on Fire, Sleep, Om, Obituary and Sunn.
