The intern will work closely with the Publisher with new business development, community relations, producing copy for special editorial sections, coordinate grass roots public relations campaigns, research projects, represent Tampa Bay Woman Newspaper at consumer and professional events, coordinate consumer communication campaigns, maintain and develop the customer and delivery location distribution data base.
The intern will be responsible for administrative tasks within and possibly outside her home office (phones requests, mailing, supply orders, organizing a data base, etc.), as well as working in a PUBLIC RELATIONS and COMMUNITY RELATIONS capacity in the field. Our products are fun to sell. New reps can earn $500-$1000 per week or more, often at their first show. We have plenty of room for expansion and advancement to higher positions and pay, with some reps earning between $1000-$3000 per week eventually. Sales experience preferred but not essential.
