The Web Content Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and production of electronic content for an on-line sales catalog. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing a variety of content, collaborating on content with diverse groups, ability to coach and mentor, and effectively communicate with all levels of management.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure production of creative, accurate, concise, and highly readable page content for new and existing products that is not overly technical or obscure.
• Enforce and follow established style guides to ensure high editorial standards.
• Understanding and support for web user experience.
• Understand interactive writing, online constraints and effective communication for the web.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into clear non-technical content.
• Communication with all levels of management
Qualifications:
• Related degree
• Excellent writing, editing, analytical, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office.
• Strong project management
• 3+ years of experience writing and editing content for a variety of online products.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• A self-starter who can work independently when necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong technical aptitude and thorough understanding of emerging technologies.
• Requires excellent, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to remain flexible in the face of change.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
