Candidates must have 10+ years of full life cycle development experience in a commercial software development environment with C++ and C#.
Working understanding of Windows operating systems internals, with a particular focus on Windows File Systems, NTFS, FAT32, Registry, Security, and WinPE.
Must have ability to:
Prototype and implement highly efficient software solutions
Define and recommend technical strategies and initiatives/projects
Perform design reviews for others in design group
Able to accurately predict amount of effort required to achieve any assigned task
Must have the ability to absorb large amounts of information in order to determine the *big picture*, and to make technical decisions in a timely manner
Capable of delivering presentations and authoring technical white papers
Must have knowledge of:
PC client operations in a commercial network LAN/WAN. Network certifications not required, but working knowledge of applications running on commercial networks is highly recommended.
Constructing technical strategies and accurately documenting all designs and implementations
Contributing to overall system architecture and product direction
Working with Product Management team to identify trends, recommend technical strategies and initiatives/projects and requirements for future technical product direction
Educational Requirements and Other Information:
Bachelors or Masters degree required in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and experience
Position may infrequently require work outside of normal business hours
