Database Administrator, senior level experience w/SQL Server and MySQL
• Creation of stored procedures across multiple product lines
• Design backup, recovery, replication, storage and archiving processes and procedures
• Apply DB updates to QA, staging and production environments for new releases or patches
• Perform builds of new software applications to testing and production environments
• Write DB documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary ('metadata')
• Control access permissions and privileges to all databases in all environments
• Create and maintain data import packages, procedures and scripts
• Ensure the database integrity and security
Required, senior level expertise with:
• SQL
• Administering SQL Server Databases
• Windows Server administration
• writing and optimizing stored procedures
Basic Level experience w/:
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and/or DTS
• Administering MySQL Databases
• Linux and Apache administration
• Creating backup and recovery systems
• Highly scalable, high traffic web applications
• Creating and editing automated scripts to deploy software builds from Source Control Management system
Desired
• Working knowledge of .Net or Java programming languages
• Experience with cloud computing or virtual environment platforms
• Understanding of software architecture, OO principles and common design patterns
• Knowledge or experience with an Agile software development framework like Scrum
• Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Web protocols
