NOLA Cafe, authentic New Orleans-style cuisine and coffee house, on the edge of Hyde Park and downtown, four blocks south of the University of Tampa, is immediately hiring hardworking people with kitchen experience to join our team as a line/prep cook.
The essential functions of our job requirements include but are not limited to:
Follows recipes and/or product directions for proper food preparation
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
Prepares appropriate equipment for cooking
Operates kitchen utensils and/or equipment used for weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, cutting, stirring, slicing, assembling and kneading of food products
Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products
Receives and inventories food and beverage product and supplies
Cleans and sanitizes work station and equipment
Must have full access to reliable transportation and flexibility in hours
Must pass drug test and background check.
The position offered requires black pants/skirts, white button-front shirts, non-skid shoes...we provide the hat and logos for shirts.
