The economy sucks and no one is buying art. Maybe we should all remember why we got into art to begin with. I think it would be fun to get together with a group of artists of all skill levels and styles to collaborate on painting for the sake of painting, in a non-competitive and open environment. Everyone could bring paint, brushes, supplies, refreshments, etc. and work together on a large surface. The focus would be on haveing fun and being spontaneous. The finished product isn't important, it's all about the process. I would like to try this in a private setting at first but if it takes off we could find a bar or other public venue to host it. I have a space that we could use to start. It would be fun to create and collaborate without deadlines, commisions, clients, or money getting in the way. We could teach each other a few things, too. If you are interested let me know. As soon as I have enough replies I'll schedule something. Please- no egos, drama, divas, negativity, or pretentiousness, just creatve folks who want to have fun and work together. REMEMBER WHY YOU PICKED UP A BRUSH TO BEGIN WITH!
